WKAZ-FM is an Oldies music formatted radio station serving the Charleston, West Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area of the United States. The station broadcasts at 107.3 MHz with an ERP of 23,500 watts. The station is owned by the West Virginia Radio Corporation. WKAZ broadcasts in HD Radio.

Programming

WKAZ is an Oldies / classic hits station. For a brief time from 2006 to March 2007, WKAZ flipped to Adult Hits under the Jack FM Branding, using the ABC Radio satellite feed. As of 5:00pm March 16, 2007 WKAZ-FM/107-3 ceased broadcast of Jack FM.

On March 19, 2007, the station returned to the Oldies format using Tom Kent's "Classic Top 40" Branding. It now positions itself as "107.3 KAZ-FM, Classic Top 40"

History

*The West Virginia Radio Corporation purchased WKAZ-FM and WSWW-AM in 1995.
*WKAZ dropped the Oldies format in January 2006, and restored it in March 2007.
*107.3's callsign was formerly WLZT.
