Faithful Central Bible Church

Faithful Central Bible Church

Faithful Central Bible Church is a "megachurch" with a that is largely African-American. It is based in Inglewood, California, and Bishop Kenneth Ulmer is the pastor.

In 2001, the church moved its services from a 2,500-seat sanctuary on Eucalyptus Street to the then-Great Western Forum, which had just been abandoned by two major league professional sports teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings. Faithful Central is believed to be the first church in the U.S. to move permanent services to such a large venue; however, it wouldn't be the last. Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas moved into the Compaq Center in 2004.

Faithful Central still rents out the Forum for occasional outside events through its Forum Enterprises division. Madonna and The Rolling Stones are among the concerts that have occurred there in recent years. The Forum Enterprises division of the church is currently involved in a labor dispute with IATSE Local 33, the Forum's stagehands.
