Eastfield College

Eastfield College is a community college of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD), located in Mesquite, Texas (USA). The school was founded in 1970 and features an enrollment of over 10,000 students.

The school offers a variety of classes in areas such as Mathematics, English, foreign languages (French, German, Spanish and Japanese), Photography, Business and Fine Arts, various Science courses, Social Science, Child Development, Criminal Justice and a variety of classes in Auto Body, Automotive Technology, CAD, Heating and Air Conditioning and Journalism.

The Don Ellis Library and Collection, which includes his instruments and Grammy for "The French Connection" are permanently set at Eastfield.

Mesquite ISD Students often refer to it as "Mesquite's thirteenth grade" because many of the students who do not know what to do after high school attend Eastfield.

Famous Graduate
Chuck Norris is an Eastfield College graduate.
