Belo Jegonfoy

Belo Jegonfoy is one of the 21 woredas in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Kamashi Zone, Belo Jegonfoy is bordered by Kamashi in the west, by Yaso in the north, and by Oromia Region in the south; parts of the woreda are enclaves in the Oromia Region.

Information is lacking on the towns and cities of this woreda.

Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, this woreda has an estimated total population of 14,943, of whom 7,624 were males and 7,319 were females. With an estimated area of 1,611.88 square kilometers, Belo Jegonfoy has an estimated population density of 9.3 people per square kilometer which is greater than the Zone average of 7.61.
