Baphomet is a fictional character appearing in the Marvel Comics universe, based loosely on Baphomet supposedly worshiped by the Knights Templar.

Publication history

Baphomet first appeared in "Marvel Spotlight" #15 (May 1974), and was created by Steve Gerber and Jim Mooney.

The character subsequently appeared in "Son of Satan" #2-3 (February, April 1976), "Doctor Strange" #73-74 (January-February 1995), and "Doc Samson" #2 (April 2006).

Fictional character biography

Baphomet is a demon that has clashed with Daimon Hellstrom.
