Cambridge Regional College Football Club is a football club from Cambridge, England, which was founded in 2006. The club competes in the Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division, and plays its home games at Cambridge United's Abbey Stadium.

History

The club was formed for the start of the 2006–07 season acting as a feeder club and youth academy for Cambridge United. Although all players are officially registered as Cambridge Regional College players, many are also part of Cambridge United's Youth Academy, and current transfer rules allow first team players for Cambridge United to move on loan throughout the season. The club started 2006-07 in the Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division, inheriting the position previously occupied by Cambridge City Reserves, and despite a slow start, finished strongly with seven wins in their last twelve games. Three players from the 2006–07 squad have now graduated to Cambridge United's first team squad - Jordan Collins, Michael Hyem and Josh Coulson also recently both Piers Wixon and Robbie Willmott were given first team squad numbers three of these (Collins, Willmott & Coulson) have made appearances for the club . This has been cited as evidence of the club's success as a feeder to Cambridge United. ponsorship

For the 2006–07 season, the club's strips bore Cambridge Regional College as its principal sponsor, in recognition of the coaching and financial support the college provided.

On 12 July 2007 it was announced that Cambridge United supporters group Cambridge Fans United would be the home matchday sponsor during the 2007-08 season, for a fee of £2,500.
