Saint-Ambroise is a station of the Paris Métro, named after the Rue Saint-Ambroise and the Saint-Ambroise (St Ambrose) church. St Ambrose (340-394), together with Augustine of Hippo, Jerome, and Gregory I, is counted as one of the four doctors of the West of ancient church history.

This station is the Boulevard Voltaire. The Saint-Ambroise church was rebuilt in the 1860s during Haussmann's modernisation of the district.
