The station is currently owned by Koahnic Broadcast Corporation and airs an adult album alternative format, as well as programing from National Public Radio and Public Radio International. KNBA is run by the Koahnic Broadcasting Corporation. The station went on the air as KANH on November 10, 1993. On April 7, 1995, the station changed its call sign to the current KNBA.
