KNBA is a radio station in Anchorage, Alaska, broadcasting on 90.3 MHz FM. The station is currently owned by Koahnic Broadcast Corporation and airs an adult album alternative format, as well as programing from National Public Radio and Public Radio International. KNBA is run by the Koahnic Broadcasting Corporation. Its programming is primarily Alaska Native affairs, although it also broadcasts shows from a youth media group - the Alaska Teen Media Institute - and rebroadcasts original programming from KSKA, plus programs from [http://www.nv1.org/ Native Voice One] .

History

The station went on the air as KANH on November 10, 1993. On April 7, 1995, the station changed its call sign to the current KNBA.
