Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.Occupation Actor Years active 1991 – present Michael Massee (born 1955) is an American actor perhaps best known for his roles as villains in film and television, as well as his unintentional and accidental involvement in the death of Brandon Lee.

Career
He has provided the voice for the villain Spellbinder in The Batman animated series, as well as appearing on the television series 24 as the villain Ira Gaines. He provided the voice of Bruce Banner for the Ultimate Avengers movie, as well as the sequel Ultimate Avengers 2. He appeared in the film Seven alongside Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, as a surly fetish club doorman. He appeared in David Lynch's Lost Highway as Andy. He also played the physical manifestation of Management (a.k.a. Lucius Belyakovin), on HBO's Carnivàle. He also appeared in the 2005 NBC TV miniseries Revelations as the main antagonist. In 2006, he guest-starred in Criminal Minds as a serial killer on death row. He appeared in the American TV Show FlashForward as villain Dyson Frost. He appeared as a villain on the series Supernatural in 2006. More recently, Massee portrayed imprisoned serial killer Charles Hoyt in the first two seasons of the TV series Rizzoli & Isles.
Massee discharged the weapon that fired via malfunction and killed Brandon Lee in 1993 during filming of The Crow. The shooting was ruled an accident, but Massee was nevertheless devastated, returning to New York and not working for a year as a result.[1][2]
Personal life
Massee and his wife, Ellen, own a clothing boutique in Los Angeles.[2]
