Surfers Paradise andNerang River . Its name is a deviation of the Aboriginal word for a species of prickly vine. The locality was originally established by British landowner Edmund Henry Price in 1862. The northern boundary of the area runs from the southern Nerang Riverbank to theGold Coasts Arts Centre . It then continues south, bordering the present day Village High Road, alongside Benowa. The locality ofSorrento, Queensland is within the Southern section of the Suburb of Bundall.References
