Woodcroft halt

Woodcroft halt

about 20 km away.

Because of its naval nature it wasn't featured on many maps, some maps however did mark it by a little tab but without a name.

The halt is now demolished and only a footbridge remains.

Location

The halt was almost certainly located at gbmapping|SU738166 which is now marked on the OS 1:25000 map as "Woodcroft Crossing". Another possibility is 400 metres further south at Woodcroft Farm.
