Sal Masekela (born August 28, 1971) is an American television host and commentator.

Biography

Masekela is the son of the South African jazz musician Hugh Masekela, and the older brother of "" contestant Nathan Gonzalez. He is of South African and Haitian descent and was raised in Staten Island, New York and Carlsbad, California (near San Diego, California), where he attended Carlsbad High School.

Masekela has hosted shows such as "Ballbreakers" and appeared on several shows on the Game Show Network, including "Lingo". He has also appeared on all three Tony Hawk Gigantic Skatepark Tours, which ran from 2000-2002. He also was on the February 22nd, 2007 episode of SpikeTV's "Pros vs Joes", in which he won in Overtime against Derrin Horton. He hosts ESPN's X Games. He also hosts the E! show The Daily 10
