July 11 ,1982 ), better known as Lil' Zane, is a rapper out ofAtlanta, Georgia , although he was born inYonkers, New York . He is arguably best known for his debut album "", released in 2000. The album's single, "Callin' Me," featuring 112 is widely considered his best. Zane has been in several movies, includingCuttin' da Mustard , A Day in the Life,The Sun Will Rise , Motives,The Fighting Temptations ,Dr. Dolittle 2 , andFinding Forrester .In 2003, Copeland released "The Big Zane Theory". With it, he formally changed his stage name from Lil' Zane to simply Zane.
