The term Holy Days formerly held by the
Worldwide Church of God underHerbert W. Armstrong refers to the seven annual Sabbaths as prescribed in thePentateuch of either theTorah orOld Testament in [http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Leviticus%2023;&version=50; Leviticus 23] or [http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy%2016;&version=50; Deuteronomy 16] .This term does not refer to the
holiday s observed by modernChristian s, such asChristmas ,Easter , andHalloween , but rather those days that are defined as Holy by theBible itself, including:
* Passover
*The Days of Unleavened Bread
*Pentecost
*The Day of Atonement
* The Feast of Trumpets
* The Feast of Tabernacles
* andThe Last Great Day Various splinter groups formed after the the death of Armstrong and the breakup of the Worldwide Church of God continue to observe these Holy Days.
