Brett HindHigh Holy Days is a Canadian rock band. HHD formed in
North Bay, Ontario as the Arcand Band in1998 . In2000 the name was changed to High Holy Days. The band currently consists ofvocalist Marc Arcand,guitar ist Bill MacGregor, bassist Chris Amey anddrum mer Brian Bird. Former members of the band include Dave Thompson (guitar ist), Jeremy Galda (bassist), and Jason Guindon (drum mer). Another former member was Brett Hind (guitar ist). He was not part of the band when "All My Real Friends" was released on Roadrunner Records. When he was a part of the band it contained five members. Bill MacGregor rejoined the lineup with Dave Thompson leaving the band.Overview
The band released their debut album "All My Real Friends" independently, and subsequently signed to
Roadrunner Records in2003 . Roadrunner re-released that album in March 2004. This album subsequently spawned the Canadian hit singles "All My Real Friends", "The River of Styx" and "The Getaway". The album was also released in theUnited States in the fall of2004 . InCanada MuchMusic aired the videos for "All My Real Friends" and "The Getaway". In theUnited States the video for "The Getaway" aired on Fuse.In April 2006, as reported in the "Wigan Evening Post", the band was in
Platt Bridge ,Wigan , working on their next album. They wanted to get away from Canada and work somewhere quiet, where they were relatively unknown. Whilst working in the studio in Platt Bridge they played gigs in Leigh and in The Tavern in Wigan.Albums
