Carfax 250

The Carfax 250 is a NASCAR Nationwide Series race that takes place at Michigan International Speedway, sponsored by vehicle history company Carfax. The race was only a 200 mile race from 1992 to 1999 when it was changed to a 250-mile race.

The 2007 Carfax 250 was the first-ever carbon neutral stock car event. Through partnerships with The Conservation Fund and Carbonfund.org, Carfax offset all carbon emissions generated by the race, including carbon emissions from fans attending the race. [Citation
