Manuel de Jesus Bonfim Evaristo, Manú (born 28 August 1982 in Setúbal), is a Portuguese football player who plays winger for CS Marítimo.

Club career

Manú started his professional career in 2001/02, playing for FC Alverca, before signing for SL Benfica in 2004, on a four-year contract. He was immediately loaned, serving stints in Italian sides Modena F.C. and A.C. Carpenedolo to gain experience, and returned to Portugal in 2005/06 for another temporary spell with CF Estrela da Amadora, where he played in 31 league matches and scored seven times, contributing to the preservation of their first division status.

In June 2006 was given a new four-year deal and made his debut by playing in both legs of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round win against FK Austria Wien, also making a substitute appearance for Benfica in a Champions League game against FC Copenhagen on 13 September 2006.

Thanks to his time in Italy, Manú attracted interest from the likes of Udinese Calcio and Parma FC in the summer 2007. Finally, Greek giants AEK Athens FC managed to sign him on a one-year loan, after which he returned to Benfica. After a few weeks he was sold to CS Marítimo.
