Career
Filiaggi began her professional broadcasting career in 1993, working at The Steve Dahl & Garry Meier Show as an office manager. She was offered this job after attending a remote broadcast of the show at Hooters. [3] She later became a producer for Steve Dahl. [4][2]
She was laid off from WLS on February 29, 2008 due to corporate restructuring. On June 16, 2008, following a subsequent management change at the station and amid continued expressions of support from the show's fans, Filiaggi was reinstated. However, her reinstatement was short lived. [5] On May 8, 2009 it was announced on the Roe Conn Show that she had once more been laid off by station management. She was replaced by former NBC 5 reporter and fill-in traffic reporter at WLS-AM, Amy Jacobsen. [6][7] Starting June 7, 2009, Filiaggi was the sidekick on a week-to-week basis on the "Living Large with Geoff Pinkus" show, Sundays from 5-7 PM on WIND (AM) 560. [5]
On March 26, 2010, Roe Conn announced that Filiaggi was returning to The Roe Conn Show once again, while she would continue to work part-time as a bartender at O'Brien's Restaurant in Chicago. [8] She was also hired to do traffic reports on WLS-FM.[5]
