Gerd Müller (politician)

Dr. Gerd Müller (born 25 August 1955 in the Günzberg town of Krumbach) is a German politician and member of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria.

Since 2005 Müller has been Secretary of State for the Bundesministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz ("Ministry for Consumer Protection, Food, and Agriculture").

He is a long-standing and active member of the German gay rights movement and has been awarded the Title of Swabian "Grünkohlkönig" twice.
