Trevor Grahl (born in 1984 in Rankin,
Ontario ) is a Canadian composer and organist.As the winner of the McGill-CBC composition competition, his Piano Preludes (2005) were performed by pianist Kyoko Hashimoto and broadcast on
CBC Radio 2 . Grahl's works also include "Le violon extraordinaire de Fifi Labranche" (2005), "Urquitaqtuq" (2007), Symphony No. 1 (1999-2000) and "The Village Blacksmith" (2003) on a text byHenry Wadsworth Longfellow . His works have been performed by the [http://www.drso.ca/ Deep River Symphony Orchestra] , the [http://www.valleyfestival.ca/ Valley Festival Chorus and Orchestra] and McGill Wind Symphony among others.Grahl currently resides in
San Diego , where he attendsUniversity of California, San Diego in the school's Composition Masters Program.
