"The Only Thing I Ever Wanted" is the second album by Psapp. The first single in Europe is "Tricycle." In the U.S., however, the first single is "Hi."
The album reached the UK Top 75 and reached the US Billboard 200 Albums, selling in excess 800,000 copies in total. Fact|date=March 2008

Alternate Version
A two-disc promotional version of the album was released in the UK, marked "not for sale" on the discs. Disc one is the same as the regular release, while disc two features instrumental versions of all of the album's songs. Literally, they are the completed instrumental backings with the vocal tracks removed.
There is a discrepancy in disc two's track listing. While the track order printed on the disc corresponds to that of disc one, "Tricycle" is actually track five and "New Rubbers" is track six.
