USS Philippines (CB-4)

USS "Philippines" (CB–4) was an "Alaska" class large cruiser cancelled prior to construction for the United States Navy during World War II. She was planned as the fourth ship in her class.

"Philippines" was authorised on 19 July 1940 to be built by the New York Shipbuilding Corporation of Camden, New Jersey, but her contract was cancelled on 24 June 1943.
