Annika Lurz (born
September 6 ,1979 inKarlsruhe ) is a freestyle andbackstroke swimmer fromGermany , who was born as Annika Liebs and lives inGerbrunn . She was a member of the German team, that won the silver medal in the 4x100 Freestyle Relay at the2005 World Aquatics Championships inMontreal, Canada . In the same year Lurz captured three medals (two silver, one bronze) at the Summer Universiade inİzmir ,Turkey .At the 2006 Budapest Long Course Swimming Championships, Lurz clocked the fastest ever relay split with 1.55.64 in the 4x200m freestyle event. With her time Germany broke the world record with 7.50.82. The German quartet was including
Petra Dallmann ,Daniela Samulski ,Britta Steffen and Annika Lurz. Laure Manaudou was also in the pool at that time and the French woman set the second fastest split time ever with 1.56.23.One month after the European Championships has finished, Annika married her coach Stefan Lurz.ee also
