Russell D. Moore

Dr. Russell D. Moore is Dean of the School of Theology and Senior Vice President for Academic Administration at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and executive director of the Carl F. H. Russell D. Moore became Dean of the School of Theology and Senior Vice President for Academic Administration of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in January 2004.

In addition, Moore has served on the pastoral staffs of two Mississippi Baptist churches. Prior to entering the ministry, Moore was an aide to Congressman Gene Taylor. Recently, Moore was named head pastor of Highview Baptist Church, Fegenbush Campus, in Louisville.
