Ali Reza Nobari

Ali Reza Nobari is the former Governor of the central bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Bank Markazi Iran). Nobari was appointed to this post by President Abolhassan Banisadr in late 1979 after the Revolutionary Council assumed executive control following the resignation of Mehdi Bazargan and The Interim Government of Iran due to the US Embassy takeover and hostage-taking.
