Williamstown High School is a four-year public high school located in Williamstown, in Monroe Township, located in Gloucester County, New Jersey, as part of the Monroe Township Public Schools.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,769 students and 121.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 14.5. The school was the 259th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in "New Jersey Monthly" magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's "Top Public High Schools". The school was ranked 248th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state. Construction on the current school building began in 1994 and was completed in 1997. Prior to 1997, Williamstown High School was located in what is currently Williamstown Middle School and middle school students attended the 7th-8th grade Oak Knoll Middle School. The school mascot is a Brave ( [http://www.monroetwp.k12.nj.us/CST/images/brave_head_large.pngsee here] ) and the school colors are Royal Blue and White. Construction is to begin again during the 2007-2008 school year on the high school to build an additional two wings because of overcrowding.

Athletics

Williamstown High School is one of nineteen member schools in the Tri-County Conference, which is composed of schools whose enrollments vary greatly for grades 9-12. The smallest one, Clayton High School, has 249 students enrolled whereas the largest one, Williamstown, has 1,343 students. In the Fall of 2006 The Williamstown Girls Volleyball won the NJSIAA Group III State Championship, two games to none (25-20 and 26-24) over West Morris Central High School. [Zagone, John. Marching Band

The school's marching band was Chapter One Champions in 2003 and 2007 (Group 1) and 2005-2006 (Group 2). The band was the 2003 Atlantic Coast Champion in Group 1 and the 2000 Atlantic Coast Invitational Champion in Group 2.
