EUClass = not listedVanadium(IV) fluoride (VF4) is a
chemical compound ofvanadium andfluorine . VF4 can be prepared by reacting VCl4 with HF in CCl3F at 25 °C. VF4 decomposes at approximately 150°C to form VF3.
The structure of VF4 is related to that of SnF4 and has corner sharing VF6 octahedra. It is paramagnetic. [ "Vanadium Tetrafluoride", Becker S., Muller B. G., Angew. Chem. Intnl. Ed. Engl. 29 (1990) No. 4 406]General references
