The Annenberg School for Communication is the communications school at the University of Pennsylvania. The school was established in 1958 by Walter Annenberg W'31. The current dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania is Michael X. Delli Carpini.
Former deans include Gilbert Seldes, George Gerbner and Kathleen Hall Jamieson. Dr. Jamieson was often quoted during the 2004 U.S. presidential election due to her involvement with FactCheck, a non-profit organization devoted to monitoring the accuracy of campaign advertising.
The Annenberg Public Policy Center is housed at the school.
