Sunshine West is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Brimbank.

It is bordered on one side by the Kororoit Creek. The suburb is largely residential, with a well used walking and cycling track along the creek: Kororoit Creek Trail. It also has easy access to major industrial and regional hubs of Victoria.

Sunshine West features one of the most ethnically diverse populations in the world. The suburb features one of the poorest socio-economic communities in Melbourne, home to many refugees and immigrant families that have settled from Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. The latest census shows that English is spoken as a second language in majority of homes, with Vietnamese and Greek being the most widely spoken.
