Hisashi Hirai

is a Japanese animator, character designer and mangaka. He is noted for his work with Sunrise, having worked in "Infinite Ryvius", "s-CRY-ed", "Gundam SEED", "Gundam SEED Destiny" and also "Fafner of the Azure".
