History
Digital 99 used to broadcast pop music only (hence its callsign of POP), but 2 years later the station began to broadcast different music genres like pop rock, Reggaeton and Dance Music, making the station more popular for Mexican youths.
Reggaeton fever
In the 2004 reggaeton was very popular in Mexico City and Digital 99 took advantage of the reggaeton fever to play Reggaeton on the airwaves of Mexico City, which made Digital 99 the station with the most listeners in the city.
Club Digital
Digital 99 mixes from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM reggaeton, Hip Hop, Pop remixes and Electronica to play at parties. This is one of the most famous mixshows in Mexico City.
