Chuck Hunt

Charles "Chuck" Hunt is the former First Gentleman of Massachusetts and the husband of former Massachusetts Acting Gov. Jane Swift.[1] Hunt is the first First Gentleman in Massachusetts history.[1]

He became First Gentleman in 2001 when his wife succeeded former Gov. Paul Cellucci who resigned to become U.S. Ambassador to Canada.[2] He served until 2003 when his wife stepped down after declining to seek a full term as governor.[3]

Hunt was well known for being a stay at home husband for their three children during his wife's governorship.[1] He entered the news when reports of his previous marriages became public.[4]
