Horondino José da Silva (5 May 1918, Rio de Janeiro – 26 May 2006, Rio de Janeiro), best known as Dino Sete Cordas ("Seven-String Dino"), was a Brazilian guitar player renowned as the greatest influence in seven-string guitar, a musical instrument in which he developed his own language and techniques, and one of the greatest choro instrumentalists ever. He developed the language that is used up to this day in seven-string guitar in choro, as well as samba, and recorded with the biggest figures in Brazilian popular music from the fifties until the beginning of the 21st century.
