Brent Charleton (born April 11, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional basketball player. He played for the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian National Basketball League.

Brent is now attending the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a focus in Marketing Communications. Brent is passionate about being the first year liason for the BCITMA or SIFE BCIT.

Charleton attended Carson Graham Secondary and then Simon Fraser University where he passed the school's all time scoring record set by Jay Triano. (Triano set the record over four seasons while Charleton's mark was set over five.) He qualifies to play for New Zealand, because his father is a New Zealander. In 2005 he made his New Zealand national team debut for the Tall Blacks. Charleton has played for the North Harbour Heat in the New Zealand National Basketball League in the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
