Eastern Developments Music is a music label formed by Scott Herren, Peter Rentz, Carolina Chaves, Ben Loiz, Carlos Niño, and Paz Ochs. Scott and Peter grew up in the Atlanta area and its hip hop scene. Pete was a radio DJ who Scott listened to every single week. When the two eventually hooked up they decided that they should create their own label with Scott making music and Pete creating the graphic design. "After jobs at Kinko's, as a bike courier, catering, washing dishes, selling herb, studio grunting and watching every one and their mother start a label of their own" the two were finally ready to create Eastern Developments Music. The label has over 20 artists in its stables including Dabrye, Daedelus, Eliot Lipp, and Ammon Contact.
They are located in BCN, LA and ATL.
