Kevin Baldeosingh, novelist, writer, author and journalist in
Trinidad and Tobago . He was born in 1963 in Trinidad and educated at theUniversity of the West Indies , where he received a BA. He is the author of "The Autobiography of Paras P" (Heinemann, 1996), "Virgin's Triangle" (Heinemann, 1997),and "The Ten Incarnations of Adam Avatar" (Peepal Tree Press,2005). He has worked as a teacher, and has been editorial writer, editor and columnist for all three of T&T's daily newspapers. He was the regional chairperson for theCommonwealth Writers Prize (Canada/Caribbean) for 2000 and 2001, and is currently writing for the "Trinidad and Tobago Newsday ". He discusses Caribbean topics and current affairs including philosophy, social psychology, literature, gender issues, politics, race, religion, and science. He is also a founding member of the Trinidad and Tobago Humanist Association.
