Washington ,USA , formed in1983 , when three musicians fromTacoma, WA and one fromSpokane, WA (Kendall) joined forces.History
The band played their first show in
1984 , and signed to Olympia'sK Records label soon afterwards, on which they released two singles ("Riverbed" and "Old Time Religion") in1987 . One of their songs, "Gonna Find A Cave", made an appearance on the "Sub Pop 200 " compilation alongside tracks by other Washingtonians such as Nirvana andSoundgarden .Various albums followed on different independent labels (the band to this day have never signed to a major label). As a side project, guitarist Kahuna plays in a Sonics tribute band (New Original Sonic Sound), featuring members of Mudhoney and theYoung Fresh Fellows . Together with fellow garage enthusiasts theU-Men , Girl Trouble helped re-establish the Pacific Northwest as a premier garage rock region.Members
