Bus Stop were a British
dance act best-known for their1998 single "Kung Fu Fighting ", which reached #8 in the UK chart. The song sampled the original vocals byCarl Douglas , the original being a UK #1 hit in1974 , and added rap verses. The group then released three further singles, including a dance version ofVan Halen 's "Jump" in1999 . The group disbanded in2000 , although memberDaz Sampson has since gone on to represent theUnited Kingdom at theEurovision Song Contest , and has gone on to have further chart success as part ofUniting Nations .Many of their songs have been featured in the popular game series
Dance Dance Revolution , includingKung Fu Fighting , Kick the Can, Swing It, andLong Train Runnin' . The band's songs were also often featured inDancemania albums.Members
