Al Salmiya Club ( _ar. نادي السالمية) is a Kuwaiti professional football (soccer) club. They have won the Kuwait division four times, most recently in 2000.

History

Salmiya Club was founded in 1964 and so on the third day of the tenth month of June, displaying the number 26. This has been his announcement in No. 483 of the Official Gazette issued on 21-6-1964. And has been displaying its statute under the resolution the General Authority for Youth and Sports 483 in 1995.

And covers an area of the club's total 94 thousand square metres, is worth mentioning that the club has been established for several purposes: firstly 1 - sports .2 - cultural activity .3 - social activity.

Has been opened for association membership of the club to the public in 6-7-1964 to be members of the public assembly. And worth noting that Salmiya Sports Club is an active member in all sports federations.

Salmiya Sports Club comprises ten sporting sports are: football, volleyball, table tennis, tennis ground, squash, Fencing, judo, Altaikundo, karate and athletics.
