Al Arabi Kuwait (Arabic: نادي العربي الكويتي) are a Kuwaiti football (soccer) team, who play in the Kuwait Premier League. Al Arabi is most commonly the club representing Kuwait in Asian soccer competitions; the last being the Asian Champions League. Al Arabi has fans all over Kuwait and neighboring countries. Al Arabi will be the first Kuwaiti team to compete in the AFC Cup 2009, as winners of Kuwait Emir Cup.

History

Al Arabi Sporting Club was associated in Kuwait 1960, located at Al Mansouriah. Al Arabi had an important role in changing the view of sport in Kuwait. Al Arabi was the first Kuwaiti soccer team to play in the Asian competitions in the Asian Club Championship 1971. Al Arabi was the first Kuwaiti team to play against a European team, Al Arabi won against S. S. Lazio of Italy 1-0, 1982 at Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium.
