Alton, Hampshire in 1560 and attendedWinchester College .
* 1578 to 1580: educated inNew College, Oxford
* 1581: admitted to the English College inRome
* 1588: he was ordained Priest and became Professor at the English College,Reims
* 1592: Lic.D. atTrèves
* 1595: D.D. atIngolstadt He became Canon atVerdun , then Confessor and Almoner to the Duchess of Cleves; after her death he became Dean ofLiverdun . He died in Liverdun, Lorraine.Work
