website = www.capitoltheatre.com.auThe Capitol Theatre is located at 13 Campbell St Haymarket, NSW, Australia. Construction of the first Belmore Markets was completed by 1869, and this site would be used for theatre on Saturday nights starting in 1893.

From November 2007 onwards, the theatre will play host to Billy Elliot the Musical.

*Capitol Square MLR station, SydneyBefore the theatre was build in its place was the Belmore markets. on this area the council built a Capitol theatre with the markets which was rented for ten years by Wirth Bros who used the theatre for circus and hippodrome.in 1916 the Wirth Circus opened the renivated Capitol Theatre and then the largest theatre in Australia.
