This latest GSC boasts the best Gold Class of all. In addition, GSC will soon open (Q3 2008) in Kuching, Sarawak.

The first GSC to operate in Malaysia was opened in Kota Kinabalu on 14 July 1981. The latest addition to the GSC chain in Malaysia was Dataran Pahlawan in Melaka opened on July 2008.

The GSC in Gurney Plaza is the first multiplex outside the Klang Valley and the first to house a Premiere Class screen followed by Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur. Mid Valley, 1 Utama and Pavilion (which boasts of the best) house Gold Class screens.

There are also international movies shown in selected GSC cinemas. Currently, there are only 3 International Screens in Malaysia. They are in Mid Valley, 1 Utama and Gurney Plaza.

The tickets are RM13 on the weekdays, and RM13 on the weekends. GSC offers "Special Wednesday Rates", selling tickets for only RM7. Tickets for Premiere and Gold Class are more expensive because patrons are served directly by GSC staff.
