Sheksna ( _ru. Шексна́, _lv. Siksna) is a river in Vologda Oblast, Russia, a left tributary of Volga. It has its source in the Lake Beloye at coord|60|04|N|38|00|E|display=inline,title, and joins the northern part of the Rybinsk Reservoir of the Volga near in the city of Cherepovets. Presently it has a length of km to mi|139, while it used to be some km to mi|400|precision=-1 long, and joined the Volga at Rybinsk before its lower part was flooded, and became a part of the Rybinsk Reservoir. The Sheksna is a part of the Volga-Baltic Waterway.
