Kesari Balakrishna Pillai (1889 - 1960), was a prominent Malayalam literary critic born in North Paravur.
Kesari Balakrishna Pillai, who was known by the name of the news paper he run "Kesari". He was also a litarary critic. Through his writings, he tried to create a modern Kerala by presenting his futuristic vision. He was a mentor of many writers.
