Lote, Norway

Lote is a village in the municipality of Eid in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The population in 2001 was 132. Since 1837 Lote was administratively a part of Gloppen, despite being separated from the rest of Gloppen by the Nordfjord. On 1 January 1992, it was transferred to the municipality of Eid. At that time Lote had 158 inhabitants.

Lote is still connected to Gloppen by ferry.
