John Francis Russell (born 1971) is a British politician for the Liberal Democrats. He is a councillor in the London Borough of Lewisham.
Russell is the younger son of Conrad Russell, the late noted historian, and his elder brother is Nicholas Lyulph Russell, Earl Russell. He is grandson to the influential philosoper and mathematician Bertrand Russell, and great-great grandson to Lord John Russell, former British Prime Minister.
