Sanjay Pathak is a senior journalist from India. He is currently holding the post of Senior Producer with famous Indian media brand Aaj Tak.

Career

A Post Graduate from Delhi University, Sanjay Pathak has done extensive research in media, which is also his forte. Along with handling the Research Department of most powerful media house of India, he is also producer in-charge of channel's programs based on entertainment and Bollywood like “Movie Masala”etc., "Cinema Aaj Tak"etc.. As a member of Assignment team he also has crucial role in planning and coordinating various news stories. His forte being socio-political news and cinema.

Sanjay pathak worked with AAJ TAK for a long period around 6 years as a Associate Exwcutive Producer.Sanjay Pathak resigned TV Today Network (Aaj Tak) on June 2, 2008. He is slated to join Sahara Samay as Executive Producer.

Election

Before his foray into entertainment media Sanjay Pathak involved with various programme on elections including Apaka Faisala, Kiski Banegi Sarkar and Kaun Banega Sardar - Pre and post Poll program on Aaj Tak for Vidhan Sabha election in Gujarat. Faisala ’2002- Pre Poll program on Aaj Tak for Vidhan Sabha election in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttaranchal and Manipur were landmarks since it established him as known Election coverage manager. His reporting from field on elections includes Zee Report card on Zee TV, Chunav Sangram for Sahara TV and Verdict ’99 for JAIN TV.

Journalist Union

On November 5, 2005 Sanjay Pathak was elected for the post of Assistant Secretary (Managing Committee) in the Association of Desk Journalist of India. The Association of Desk Journalist of India is a national forum for editorial journalist in India.
