Al Qunfudhah

Al Qunfudhah ( _ar. القنفذة) is a coastal town in western Saudi Arabia. It is located at around coord|19|7|35|N|41|4|44|E.

In 1976, LDS researcher Lynn Hilton identified "al Qunfudhah" as a possible location for the site of Nahom, as described in the Book of Mormon; however, this theory has since been abandoned. [http://www.angelfire.com/pq/pacumenispages/arabia.html]
