was a town located in Shimajiri district, Okinawa, Japan.

On January 1, 2006, Sashiki, Chinen, Tamagusuku, and Ōzato merged to form the city of Nanjō.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 11,481 and a total area of 10.60 km², with a density of 1,083 persons per km².
